Hi Ray I need some weight lifting tips.
Any weight lifting exercise, whether for chest or biceps, sets of 10,8 and 6 reps is what you recommend. What I want to know is how much rest in minutes do I take between those sets so that they are effective and I don’t overstrain?
I am a lefthander but my right biceps are more developed. I always do the same number of weight lifting exercises for both sides. Where could I be going wrong? Also my left forearm is more developed than my right. The left shoulder is wider than the right. Its slight, but its asymmetric. Any ideas?
I am 23,64 kg and 5 ft 10 inch. I have some stubborn fat on my chest and some on my tummy. Can’t seem to get it off. Will running or ropes help? I will not be able to do any other aerobic exercises. And while running should I aim for endurance or speed? Any tips would be appreciated.
Are sore muscles a sign of having exercised enough? Or is it that if after a weight lifting exercise session I don’t feel any soreness or fatigue my workout for those particular muscles is insufficient?
I see a lot of veins on guys who have muscles. So is there some relationship between veins and muscles?
A nutrition question-how beneficial are nuts in building musculature?
Lots of weight lifting questions, but they are critical to me. Hope you can give me some tips.

Weight Lifting Tip #1: For muscle size rest 1-2 minutes. If you want to get lean and ripped, keep the pace higher and don’t rest for any more than 1 minute.

Weight Lifting Tip #2: There are always SOME differances. Sometimes if the differances are huge it may be a nervous system problem and you should see a chiropractor. But unless we are talking inches, just stick with all dumbell exercises and give the small side one or two extra reps over the strong side.

Not So Weight Lifting Tip #3 Running will probably do the trick better than anything else actually. I like to do both long and short running sessions. Sometimes I will do 10-15 50 yard sprints walking back to the start line and other times I will just go for a 30-45 minute run down the beach. SOMETIMES I do a little of both. Running will take off that fat.

Weight Lifting Tip #4 You dont always want to be so sore that you cant move, but if every second or third workout you are not stiff a little the day after then you need to train heavier and more intensly. Maybe you need to put more effort and get closer to failure on each set.

ANSWER: There is a connection between testosterone, low bodyfat and blood volume. These are the things that show veins. So if you want to get viens, train heavy and hard, keep the pace fast (just one minute) and do more running to strip off fat.
AS for nuts in your nutrition program, they are a good snack food because they have a bit of protein (not as good as fish and steak) but you have to watch eating too many of them because of thier fat content. So use them once and while for a healthy snack but dont each a whole bag of peanuts everyday! There ARE NOT critical though at all.
