My girlfriend has been working at a beauty spa for a couple of months now and it’s opened my eyes to just how many people are into primping, poking, injecting, zapping and how much money is spent in this industry! It’s amazing. Even just a small segment of this industry like laser hair removal in Calgary returns a ton of results on google just in Calgary alone.
Now speaking of lasers, well kind of. IPL or intense pulse light. It looks like the tattoo craze is getting turned around and IPL tattoo removal is becoming BIG business. No, I’m not getting mine removed. I just finished getting more while I was in Thailand. Done by a bamboo stick. Cool story but for another articles all together. However, some people are rethinking their pasts and getting them zapped off.
Knights bridge laser clinic has a bit of text at the top of their pages that made me think, now that looks doable if your ex-wife’s name is still on your forearm. They’ve got a clock at the top and it says “ Click here to book your lunch time treatment”. Doesn’t seem like it gets much easier than that. From what I learned, the IPL or intense pulse light breaks up the tattoo ink below the skin so that it is then absorbed and removed by the body naturally and there is no scarring.
I think it’s amazing what they can do these days. I remember when I booked my laser eye surgery and was all nervous. The whole thing ended up taking less than 5 minutes for both eyes. I remember asking myself how I could have waited so long to go do it. Especially with the sports, sweating and fast movements I do frequently. Actually, even just to go out and enjoy the rain without needing mini windshield wipers.
Which brings up a pretty interesting point. Well, to me at any rate. You know how we spend $50 here on eating out and then $100 here on an outfit that lasts a year? Well, this goes back to my laser eye surgery. I spent $1200 (or so I think) on that and I’m still lapping up the freedom and benefits of that action. I really do think it was the best money I ever spent. Seriously.
I just wonder about those people that have split ear, moles, skin tags, bad eyes, scars and acne that are uncomfortable or self conscious and don’t even know how accessible, quick and inexpensive (for the value received) treatment for these things are.

For tattoo removal you could better use the nd-yag laser this is the real way of getting your tattoo of your body.
with the ipl machiene you can damage your skin very badly.

If you’re not sure about getting a tattoo then don’t do it. Tattoo is an art.
