Harbinger PolyPro Dip Chin Belt With Chain Review

A dipping/chinning belt is a great piece of equipment to add to the “must have” list if you are setting up your own home gym. In my case, the Harbinger PolyPro Dip Chin Belt is what I am using in my personal training studio for working my chest and back exercises and it’s been holding up really well. Besides the basic chinup and dipping with weight options I now have, I can also do a host of other new exercises like donkey calf raises and sumo squats on blocks.

There is not much I can say because the Harbinger PolyPro Dip Chin Belt is such a simple piece of gear except that it does what it is supposed to. I can tell you for sure that it beats the pants off of just a plain piece of chain digging into your waist like I used to use. It’s also a whole lot nicer than trying to squeeze a dumbbell between your thighs.

The Harbinger PolyPro Dip Chin Belt is also made of polypropylene and for me it’s more comfortable than some of the stiff leather ones I’ve used. That’s a preference thing though of course. The leather is a little more expensive than the polypropylene and I can’t really say why.

Here are the specifications on the Harbinger PolyPro Dip Chin Belt:

Just to give the Harbinger PolyPro Dip Chin Belt a good workout, my client and I did a Deadlift, chin, dip workout with it and here is a vid from a piece of that session.

Harbinger PolyPro Dip Belt With Chain Cost:
You can pick one up for just under $30 in the states but I paid almost $50 here in Calgary Alberta Canada.
