Born To Run Barefoot


Born to run barefoot? Check it out. I get some questions about my choice or lack thereof when doing my bootcamps. Not mention how much my girlfriend hates the fact that I have shrek feet in public. So I found a cool video from a guy that can explain it a lot better than I do.

To be honest with you, I don’t really care if it’s better for you or even if it’s the way we are meant to move. I just really dig it. I actually think that I just want the ability to do it. This is probably why I never try to really defend it. Because I don’t care if it’s right or not. To me… it’s just to much fun. To be able to be as close to “ungeared” as I can and not dependent on anything. Maybe… just maybe, my feet are making a larger statement than I know.

This is what happened to me. I trained well. I trained smart. I worked on flexibility and used the foam roller. I ate well, slept well, rested and listened to my body. STILL, running started to suck. Bodyparts started to get “Junked Up”. I thought, somethings got to be wrong here. So I went looking…
