Holy. The anderson silva fight with Forrest fight last night was one of those fights where you sit there for a couple minutes after and just don’t know what to think. Actually, I remember thinking “Silva is a freak like the next Muhammad Ali” or something of the sort. (I didnt say it was rational)
I mean Forrest is good. He does this day in and day out. Trains like an animal and loves what he does. I just can’t imagine how good Anderson Silva really must be to put on a display like that fight last night. It was just STRANGE.
Where does it put a fighter skill wise when he can create such a gap in ability between himself and another fighter that is as good as Forrest?

At any rate, no. Anderson Silva will not fight Lyoto Machida… yet. Anderson does not want to fight his friend. We’ll see what Dana does about that.
I still don’t get why fighting a friend is a problem for some fighters.

i agree anderson was on another planet compaired to forrest and forrest is one of the best all rounders in the sport and with a great record and an ex champ to boo,t so this was one for classic vaults for sure,
anderson is shaping up to be one of the all time greats and i can’t with to see who he fights next cos i don’t think there are many guys who could beat him right now
Totally. That was a fight for the books. I bet Forrest is bummed because there will be highlight clips shown from that fight forever…
I was very disappointed with this fight. I like Silva, and didn’t mind that he won, but it was just such a let down. Forrest walked right into that jab. It was nothing more than that. Silva, while possibly the greatest fighter in MMA, didn’t really show anything. Big let down.
As for Silva not wanting to fight his friend… well, we see how that turned out for Tito when he didn’t want to fit the Iceman.
