So why a fitness page for mothers? Well it seems to me that a lot of the fitness
media is targeting only the young and single. I know why, because it's easy
and generic. When you address one specific group of the population (like mothers
or elderly) you severely limit your exposure and thus your ability to sell product.
An article about how to get your kids to bed on time or how to exercise with
your baby really cuts down on the amount of readers you can reach. But that's
the nature of business, you put your money where it will make you more money.
So since this site doesn't make me any money (well a little form my book sales),
I just want to provide mothers with some fitness information that may help those
people that may have been a little ignored by the main stream. Mothers in my
opinion need the fitness help more than most.
So who are these people that I want to help here? Mothers of all types. New
mom's, experienced moms and mom's whose kids have left the house and now have
some time for themselves. Mothers can have a lot of issues both mental and physical
that I feel I can help them with.
** I have this lower belly "pot" that hasn't been the same since my first child.
(This is so easy to fix) I had one mother write me after I posted this fitness mothers page,
and said if its so easy, why didnt you tell us how. So here is the answer to that question,
flatten a mothers tummy.
** I have constant back pain and a tense neck (A few simple exercises to restore
muscle balance)
** There is just no time to workout! I have too many responsibilities and daily
chores to take care of. (I know, this is why I help people with lifestyle coaching
and at home training to save time and organize their new lives) Had to write an article on this one too.

** My stress level has gone up and my energy level has gone way down. (You need
some endorphins!)
** My kids have all moved out and menopause is kicking in. Talk about a time
that a person needs a healthy self-image and a new purpose to their lives. (There's
no better project then restoring your own health as a mother)
** My body aches. I have; Arthritis, Fybromialgia, knee pain and my hands dont
have strength any more. (So much of the pain mothers experience is from muscle
wasting, a downward spiral of inactivity and improper nutrition)
These are some of the things that mothers have told me so far. As you mothers
read this and email me with new fitness issues, I'll provide you with fitness
answers. I hope that through this fitness web site I will be able to provide
an outlet for you to share your fitness problems and answers with other mom's
around the world. This is a new concept and I need your help
